Question 4 U Mr. Roberson...Do U ever get tired of performing a specific song? I know quite often, fans lock N2 one specific song when U have a catalog of greatness...

I heard that you have a meet & greet with fans after your shows? Is that true?

Yeh i try to do that after every show. we've been doing that from the very start. thats the toughest part on my voice to be honest, but i try to make sure ive vocally prepared to handle all the talking after the shows. i think the fans appreciate it and it gives us a chance to take in some of the energy that most artists usually miss out on.

nah i dont really grow tired of singing any of my songs. but i do switch things up. notice we dont play Couldnt Hear Me or Softest Lips just like the record. i possibly would get bored if i didnt change it up. our main struggle is trying to decide what songs out of 7 albums do you fit in a set. it would be nice to do 3 hours and try to cover everything, but it would be hard to hold the audiences attention that whole time, let alone the band behind me. good question.

OK guys, we all know that certain songs bring back certain memories for us. With that said, I hope you never grow tired of singing "The Moon" because the song brings back a lot of good memories for me. I was introduced to your music by an ex while we were stuck in traffic on Rt 1 in Woodbridge Va, circa 1993... wow. He goes, babe, I got some new music that I want you to hear. He was sooo excited. It was cute. He slides the tape into the tape deck, gets out of the car and proceeds to sing at the top of his lungs. Shocked Yep, that did it for me. I still remember that.

What's the craziest memory that any of your fans has ever shared with you?

You and Dwele are probably my most fave Male singers not named Luther or Micheal. "Hold On" is one of my absolute favorite songs. If not asking too much, how did it come to be that Dwele wound up with "Hold on", and do U have particular songs that is hard for U to give to another Artist??

Help! Trying to figure out exactly what you say in the 2nd verse of "how could she do it"

though she lied to me, i can't do the same, can't lie to myself & lie here in shame...
...so i tell the truth & lie here in pain, those beautiful nights we lied here in vain...
but as i reflect there's nothing i change, besides the day she decided to change...
threw us away like a shirt with the stain, now she wears an ____ from a brand new man...
but it just ain't the same (uh ah), it just doesn't fit right, that's what she be saying
1nce in a while i guess she'll reminisce, slide that old shirt on to see if it fits...
don't wear it for long holding, that is it?, left here alone and again here i sit
looking out the window feeling like this, unlucky guy on a really bad trip

I love going to live shows. I'm thinking about becoming a concert promoter. What all goes into the planning of your shows?

Question: What performance back in high school put you on the map in Rahway, or made you say... "I like this, I want to do this for the rest of my life"?

anytime i was on stage really. i performed my whole life, but i did Annie Get Your Gun in 8th grade. by the time i was a freshmen in high school you couldnt get me to stop signing and jumping on stage. one performance that really stands out in high school was KING OF HEARTS my senior year. i performed "tell me when can i see your smile again". boy that song got me in some trouble back then. hahahaha..
oh but the best answer really. i won a national pageant when i was 16 called Mr. Black Teenage World. It granted me a full scholarship to Howard University. That was the moment when i said to myself, maybe i can do this for a living. never looked back from there.

Taking it back!

that ranks up there pretty much. but i think couples that give me pictures of the kids and say they were conceived to my music. at the moment i am the cause of three fan kids. musically of course.
